About Docker Subscriptions
Developers can create and deploy secure applications to any cloud or on-premises infrastructure using Docker Desktop, resulting in faster delivery times. The Pro, Team, and Business subscriptions provide companies with additional features that enhance the value of Docker Desktop. These features include the ability to manage secure software supply chains, centralise policy visibility and control, and manage users and access.
Docker Desktop requires a paid subscription (Pro, Team, or Business), available for as little as $5 per month for larger enterprises (over 250 employees or over $10 million in annual revenue).
Docker for Business
As part of the newly introduced Docker Business subscription, organisations can administer and secure large-scale software development processes using Docker. IT leaders can effectively manage all Docker development environments with an intuitive SaaS-based management platform, facilitating their secure software supply chain initiatives. Along with all the capabilities of the Pro and Team subscriptions, Docker Business enables teams to build securely from the beginning. This is done by allowing IT leaders to control developers' access to content on Docker Hub, thus ensuring the use of trusted base images. Moreover, in the near future, Docker Business will provide additional features, such as SAML SSO, the ability to control registry access, and remote management of Docker Desktop instances.
